• "Hawley Powerhouse" Artist Panel held January 25th

A panel of artists will talk about their perspectives on participating in the "Howley Powerhouse" project. The talk will be held at 2pm at the West Linn Library.

• "Hawley Powerhouse" exhibit's February, 2009 venue

The group show's next venue will be at the new public gallery at Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City. Installation is shceduled for Feb. 12th and the exhibit will run through May 15th.

• West Linn Library artist reception is January 4th

An artists reception for West Linn library's showing of "Art Contemplates Industry - Hawley Powerhouse" will be held on Sunday, January 4th, 2009, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

• West Linn Library to exhibit "Hawley Powerhouse" in January, 2009

The West Linn Public Library will feature a special exhibit from the Willamette Falls Heritage Foundation during the month of January, 2009. The exhibit will run January 4th - 30th in the Library's Community Room, which is open to the public when not in use, and always open on Sundays noon - 5:00 p.m.

• "Art Contemplates Industry - Hawley Powerhouse" Group Project

The exhibit is part of the Willamette Falls Heritage Foundation's "Industry & Art" initiative, which aims to translate West Linn and Willamette Falls' unique industrial heritage through the vision of fine artists. It publicly showcases the varying perspectives and visual interpretations of seventeen amazing artists who participated in the juried, two-day plein air art opportunity at the historic 1916 hydropower plant. The artists who applied and were selected to be part of the event captured hundreds of images to commemorate the building and its powerful natural setting.
